Emceein'

Is performed by emcees commonly spelled MC.

MC is short for Mic Controller or Master Of Ceremony.

When one emcees he moves the crowd.

Examples of emceein' would be freestylin', rhyming over a beat,

droppin' lyrics acapella, instructing the crowd to yell out a word or sayin', to make noise, clap hands to beat,

etc ...*

 

 

Breakin'

Is performed by B-Boys & B-Girls commonly referred to as breakdancers

Breakin' usually involves Poppin' & Lockin', Different poses, and/or moves performed on the floor like back spins, head spins, the dolphin, the spider etc...

 

Deejayin'

Is performed be a DJ

DJ play music with two music players (turntables/CD Players/I Pods) and a mixer.

With this set up he is able to play continuous music for a crowd, provide a beat for an emcee to

ryhme to, or enhance a song with sound effects such as cuts, scrathes, breaks, etc... which he create by manipulating the records.

Is the creation of Grafitti Art, Taggin'

Grafitti is created by Grafitti Artist

The act of doing grafitti is usually called bombing.

Grafitti Artist use spray paint to create their art on walls and magic markers to write on paper.

 

Beat Boxin'

Beat Boxin' is someone makin' a beat and sound effect with their mouth.
